| If I could give zero stars, I would. Completely disgusted with this place. I was referred to Stoney creek oral but my dentist, in which they did all the work, X-rays consultation etc. Dr.Kanoza, who was wonderful, was concerned about being sedated with my severe asthma. He was certain I would be a candidate to be covered under OHIP and have my teeth extracted in the hospital. He referred me to Dr.Pye specifically to get the answer to his concern. Well, I was not even in his office for 3min. He asked me about my puffers, didn't even leave the room to inquire, and responded , he didn't "THINK" I would be a candidate. Then walked out and told me to book an appointment with his secretary for extraction, which was quoted over $125 more than Stoney creek oral. I walked out, only to be stopped by secretary and notified I owed $125 for that 3 minute visit. I was disgusted. I was never told of any consultation fee on the phone of my appointment confirmation- in which I'm sure is a policy. She replied it's a standard fee- which is a joke, because the "standard fee" at the other office was $50. In which I had my official consultation with. They seemed perfectly fine hosing me for money while doing ZERO work. I will never step foot in this place again, and I advise anyone to stay well away. Dr.Kanoza is a great man, who cares about my health and money, and Dr.Pye's office had anything but that. |
