| I had a sudden broken tooth that needed an immediate dental attention as it was becoming very uncomfortable for me to eat. My dentist was not able to take me right away so I went looking for a dentist who could. I called Peak View Dentistry who gave me an appointment in a weeks time. When I went for my appointment I told the doctor why I was there and she proceeded to recommend that I get some xrays done which I did right away. When she came back with the slides she told me I had some serious infection bubbling under and that I needed my root canal pulled out which I agreed to. I had dental insurance coverage so I was not too concerned about the cost. Unfortunately the cost was more than I had expected. The fact that I had to pay the full amount upfront is something I did not really like let alone expect. My insurance usually pays back within 48 hrs after submitting a claim how ever not everybody is able to cough up $600-$1000 up front. The dentist was not attentive to my immediate need and the reason I went to see her in the first place. After the xrays she had the whole list of what I needed to get done. After that episode I cancelled my appointments. Nobody asked me why nor did they call me back to try and reschedule. Which to me is an indication of judgemental business practice and get what ever you can attitude. I would never recommend any body to this practice. | ||
